So Close

Recorded as part of my next, upcoming CD, "So Close" was co-written with Mike Conway, who is featured prominently on keyboard. Many thanks to Natalie Dodson, Jeff Feit, and Mike Conway for their tireless production work on this track.

And, hats off to "the boys in the band"!! That would be Bret Patton on drums, the incomparable Frank Celentano on bass, Mike Conway on keyboards. Thanks guys! You made this happen.

Better Late Than Never

My debut CD. Barebones. Just me and my guitar. Well, on most of the tracks, anyway. Influences? Several.

Silly me! I never knew how easy it was to make my music available here on my website.

It’s your one and only old friend Todd. Known you since 1996. Your heart is pure as pure can get. Miss you more than you know. Love your music as always. You are a blessing to have as a friend. Last I heard your music was Frederick 2015. Keep your head up and know you have a friend always only 2400 miles away. Be strong and continue to attribute your experiences earlier in life. This will tell many life is not always Rosie. Love you my friend. Todd.

I used to be a resident in San Francisco/bay area. I used to pass through the civic center/Powell station multiple times a day. I can truly say that I was going through a hard time. Hearing your music along with covers of songs that I was listening to growing up put to your voice helped me realize that there was hope. That there was a way out to what I was going through. The tranquility you generated through your music helped me through each and every day of the painful situation I was in. I really thank you for this and hope you carry the gift of song to other human beings. Thank you Ron, you are gifted.

Hey guys! I hope everyone is keeping safe during these unprecedented times. I've taken myself off the busking scene, temporarily, until the shelter-in-place order has been lifted. It just seems to make sense to me. I miss being out there!!! And, I miss seeing many of you. But, we must take this seriously since there is still so much we don't know and understand about it. Take good care of yourselves! I'll be seeing you again at a station near you real soon!! ❤️❤️ Ron

Richard 5:12 PM (0 minutes ago) to boardofdirectors@bart.gov Still at it, I see, Board: Letting people of color sing and dance on board with amplifiers. Not to mention the tone deaf idiot , Ron Kemp, who "serenades" us as we come out of the station on the concourse level at Embarcadero Station at 6 AM. with horrible sounds. NOT EVERYONE wants to hear cacophony while on trains and in stations, as if we don't have enough stress in our lives Pathetic. Deport him back to MD.

I always enjoy listening to the resonance of your voice when I get off the Embarcadero BART. Do you do private gigs?

I look forward to hearing you when I come up the escalator in the mornings. It makes me smile. (and at 6:45 am it takes a LOT to make me smile! But you do!)

Ron, Excellent music! I just heard you again this morning. There is one song you cover that has a line that get's suck in my head all day. I don't know the name of the song though. The line is, "ooooh oooh waterloo". Waterloo isn't the right word but I can never figure it out. Any thoughts on what song that is? If you can help, I'd be grateful! Keep bringing us positive vibes on our commute to work. Thank you, Nichja
